Services Overview
Trifecta Sports Collectibles provides the following services:
- Private Autograph Signing Mail-In Program: You ship your item(s) to us; we attend the private signing on your behalf, obtain the athlete's autograph, and return the completed item to you.
- Public Event Mail-In Program: You mail your item(s) to us; we attend a public autograph signing event as an approved mail-in partner and return your signed item.
- Pre-Order Completed Signed Items: You purchase an item directly from our inventory, which we have professionally signed at a signing event and ship to you.
- Fundraiser & Charity Auction Services: We supply sports memorabilia for fundraising events and, where agreed upon, coordinate on-site charity auctions at no cost to the organization.
- Event Information & Calendar: We curate and publish information about upcoming autograph events, sports card shows, and related activities.
Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use our services or submit an order. By placing an order you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs in connection with your order or communications with us.
Orders & Payment
3.1 Order Placement
All mail-in and pre-order requests must be submitted by completing the applicable Order Form on our website or by emailing trifectacollectibles@gmail.com. An order is not confirmed until we have communicated the cost breakdown, payment instructions, and final submission details to you in writing.
3.2 Pricing
Pricing varies by athlete, item type, inscription, and certificate of authenticity options. All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed at the time of your written order confirmation.
3.3 Payment
Full payment is required prior to or upon receipt of your item(s), as specified in your order confirmation. Failure to submit timely payment may result in cancellation of your order and return of your item(s) at your expense.
3.4 Mail-In Deadlines
Shipping & Packaging
4.1 Sending Items to Us
You are responsible for all costs associated with shipping your item(s) to Trifecta Sports Collectibles. Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method with appropriate insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
4.2 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are included in pricing unless otherwise stated in your order confirmation. Items are returned via standard trackable mail. Expedited return shipping is available upon request for an additional fee.
4.3 International Shipping
We ship completed items within the United States. International shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis; any additional duties, taxes, or customs fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
4.4 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss for items shipped to us passes to Trifecta Sports Collectibles upon our confirmed receipt. Risk of loss for completed items shipped back to you passes to you upon tender of the package to the carrier. We are not liable for carrier errors, theft, or loss after the package has been tendered to the shipping carrier.
Item Condition & Liability
5.1 Pre-Existing Condition
We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage, defects, or imperfections on items you send to us. We recommend photographing your item(s) before shipping. By submitting an item, you acknowledge that it is being submitted in its current condition.
5.2 Handling During Signing
We handle your items with reasonable care. However, autograph signings are dynamic events and athlete handling of items may occasionally result in minor marks or imperfections beyond our control. Trifecta Sports Collectibles is not liable for damage caused by the athlete during the signing process.
5.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trifecta Sports Collectibles' total liability for any claim arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages of any kind.
Autograph Authenticity & Certificates
We participate exclusively in legitimate, licensed signing events organized by professional promoters. All autographs obtained through our mail-in and pre-order programs are obtained at official signing events.
Certificates of Authenticity (COA) are provided by the event promoter or a third-party authenticator (e.g., Beckett) when available and are stated in the event listing. Trifecta Sports Collectibles makes no independent guarantee of COA availability unless explicitly included in your order confirmation.
We do not authenticate or appraise items that were not obtained through our services.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
7.1 Event Cancellations by Promoter
In the rare event that a signing is cancelled, postponed, or an athlete cancels their appearance, Trifecta Sports Collectibles will notify you promptly. You may elect to:
- Transfer your order to a future signing for the same athlete, if available; or
- Receive a full refund of amounts paid to Trifecta Sports Collectibles for the cancelled signing.
7.2 Customer Cancellations
Cancellations by the customer must be submitted in writing to trifectacollectibles@gmail.com prior to the mail-in deadline. Cancellations made after the mail-in deadline or after your item has been received may be subject to a handling fee.
7.3 No Refund on Completed Signings
Once an autograph has been obtained on your behalf, no refund will be issued except in cases of demonstrable error directly attributable to Trifecta Sports Collectibles.
In-Person Event Ticket Transactions
Trifecta Sports Collectibles does NOT handle in-person ticket sales or in-person autograph transactions at events. For in-person ticket purchases, admission pricing, or event-day logistics, please contact the show promoter directly using the contact information listed on the applicable event page.
We are not responsible for in-person event operations, crowd management, athlete availability, or changes to in-person event programming.
Fundraiser & Charity Auction Services
Trifecta Sports Collectibles offers memorabilia supply and on-site charity auction coordination for eligible non-profit fundraising events. The scope of services, item availability, and participation terms will be agreed upon in writing prior to the event. We reserve the right to decline requests at our sole discretion.
Charity auction coordination is provided at no cost to qualifying organizations; however, the organization remains responsible for event permits, venue requirements, and applicable tax filings related to auction proceeds.
Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on www.TrifectaCollectibles.com, including text, images, event listings, and branding, is the property of Trifecta Sports Collectibles or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from our website without our prior written consent.
You may not use our website in any manner that could impair its functionality, introduce malicious code, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
Privacy & Communications
By providing your contact information, you consent to receiving order confirmations, event updates, and service-related communications from Trifecta Sports Collectibles. If you join our email notification list, you consent to receiving newsletters, event announcements, and promotional content. You may unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties except as necessary to fulfill your order (e.g., shipping carriers) or as required by law.
Third-Party Events & Promoters
Event information published on our website is provided as a courtesy and sourced from third-party promoters. Trifecta Sports Collectibles is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party event details, athlete availability, venue changes, or cancellations. Always verify event details directly with the promoter before making travel arrangements.
Trifecta Sports Collectibles acts as an independent mail-in partner, not as an agent of or representative for any athlete, sports team, league, or event promoter.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with your use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at trifectacollectibles@gmail.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with proceedings conducted in California.
Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
