It only took 1 day and 1 event which changed my life forever.
It all started with my cousin inviting me to attend a sports card show where Tom Rathman was signing autographs. After that one event, I was hooked. The pure rush and excitement I felt when meeting a professional athlete, taking a photo op and/or getting an autograph is just AWESOME.
Decades later, I'm still enjoying every second of this hobby. I have experienced all sides of this industry. I was once a sports card / beanie baby collector, then dealer (selling at the local mall shows), autograph seeker, and also helped out local promoters hold their private and public signings with professional athletes.
Through the years I have established some great contacts and made hundreds of friends. Now I want to pass along my knowledge of this industry and help you — the collector and sports fan — enjoy what the Bay Area sports teams have to offer. Being a Bay Area sports fan all my life and also a Golden State Warriors Season Ticket holder, I always wanted a website that listed autograph events, meet and greets, special sports related events and sportscards / memorabilia / toy shows. It was very frustrating finding out about an autograph event AFTER it already happened. Hopefully all the ideas that we always wanted in a website are now here for you to enjoy as a sports fan or collector.
