It all started with my cousin asking me to attend a sports card show where Tom Rathman was signing autographs. After that one event, I was hooked. The pure rush and excitement I feel when meeting a professional athlete and either taking a photo op or getting an autograph is just plain AWESOME. 15 years later, I’m still enjoying every second of this hobby. I have experienced all sides of this industry. I was once a sports card/beanie baby collector, then dealer (doing the local mall shows), Autograph seeker, and have also helped out local promoters do their private signings with professional athletes. Through the 15 years I have established some great contacts and made dozens of friends.
