The San Jose Sharks advanced tonight to the Stanley Cup semi-finals.  They will either face the Blackhawks or Red Wings.  Both teams that have eliminated the Sharks in the past.  Can they get to the Finals...I think so, but just getting there won't be enough. With the success of the SF Giants, just getting there won't do.  

Even if they win the whole thing, it still will not be comparable to the Giants World Series victory.  To think about it, not much will ever compare to the Giants World Series victory.  The effect that the Sharks are having isn't really changing the market of SJ Sharks signed memorabilia.  They have been in this seat before so unless they win the whole shabang...there won't be a boost in Sharks memorabilia. 

I'm hoping they win it all.  We'll see.
